We are looking for an HR Manager to Metsä Wood’s new birch plywood mill. The position will be located in Pärnu, Estonia.
- Responsible for local HR matters
such as labor & employment issues, planning and implementing training and
- Support line managers in
their people management responsibilities such as implementing approved
resourcing plans and recruitment processes, employment related matters,
performance management and compensation and benefits issues
- Proactive support to
productivity improvement and world-class occupational safety
- Coordinate the
implementation of organizational development actions and follow up and develop
- Plan and promote positive

- Minimum of 5 years of
experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- B.Sc. degree or higher level
- Knowledge of Estonian labor law.
- Personal integrity and high
ethical standards. Autonomy, discipline, self-leading, continuous improvement
- Native Estonian and fluent in
English. Russian is an advantage.
- Good communication,
presentation and analytical skills.
- Good IT skills, including
knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Previous experience in using
SAP or other ERP or HR systems is preferred.
