Merite started as Tammiste’s Recruitment Partner in July 2024. She is a team member with long-term strategic experience in HR and management in various business areas, including international groups, which allows her to be a strong and considerate partner in recruiting new team members.

Before joining the Tammiste team, Merite worked at Metsä Wood Eesti AS, the Estonian subsidiary of the Finnish international wood industry group Metsä Group, where her task was to recruit, maintain, and develop the entire factory team during the creation of a new factory (green-field project), being a strategic partner both locally and at the head office level. Merite says: “When recruiting a team, I consider the synergy between the members to be important, which in practice means that in addition to the professionalism of the field, the human “click” of the candidate with the manager and the team is also important, and I monitor this when a new member is added.” Later, in addition to HR, Merite also managed the general and legal side of the company, including as a member of the board. In addition, she has successfully contributed to other companies in the fields of industrial, spa and wellness, and electrical industry, where she recruited professionals for various positions to develop and grow teams.

Merite has obtained an applied higher education in business management from Tartu University Pärnu College and a master’s degree in personnel management from Tallinn University of Technology. In addition, she has completed approx. 80% of the Bachelor of Law studies at the University of Tartu.

In addition, Merite contributes to projects that support community and targeted development, including the Pärnu County Chamber of Enterprises, Pärnu HR Forum and Business Women Delegation MTÜ. Merite was elected in 2023. Pärnumaa Chamber of Commerce as the winner of the Brackmann Legacy HR Management Masterclass.
